Our program for your Choir Trip
Thursday 8th October 2020
Arrive at the Cote d´Azur
Attending choirs arrive in Nice. Meet your local assistant at the hotel and check-in.
In the late afternoon: Opening ceremony hosted by the Deputy Mayor of Nice and by representatives of “Les Voix de Nice”, the French Choral Association.
Optional dinner at your hotel or at a local restaurant.
Enjoy the rest of the evening with a stroll over the famous and illuminated “Promenade des Anglais” at the Angel´s bay.
Friday 9th October 2020
City sightseeing in Nice, visit perfume factory in Eze and friendship concert with a local choir
Enjoy breakfast at your hotel in the morning.
In the morning depart on (your own) coach for a half day sightseeing panorama tour of Nice including the beautiful Promenade, ancient and baroque monuments of the “Belle Epoque”, the famous Hotel “Negresco”, the Russian-Orthodox Cathedral, the Cimiez Hill with the Franciscan church and the rose garden belonging to the adjoining monastery, the Arena and the Matisse Museum. The tour ends with a walk through the Old Town (“Vieux Nice”).
In the afternoon coach transfer (coach provided by the organizers) to the nearby town of Eze and enjoy a guided visit of the perfume factory “Fragonard”. Take the opportunity to visit the picturesque town of Eze following.
Free time for optional dinner.
Eveningperformance with a local French choir at a church in Nice or vicinity including a following get-together with refreshments.
Saturday 10th October 2020
Choir Festival and closing ceremony
Enjoy breakfast at your hotel in the morning.
Spend free time on your own in the morning to explore the Old Town of Nice or take the opportunity to visit the Palais Lascaris, Museum of instruments of Music, located in the Old Town (entrance fee not included).
In the afternoon the concert cycle of performances for all participating choirs takes place in the lovely and baroque Cathedral “Sainte Reparate”.
Following thanksgiving and farewell by the Deputy Mayor of Nice and group-sing of the farewell song (Canticorum Jubilo / Haendel). Distribution of participation certificates.
Farewell dinner in the evening located in a picturesque restaurant in Nice with “Cuisine Nicoise” and entertainment.
Sunday 11th October 2020
End of the Choir Festival
Depart Nice after breakfast and return for home.

If your wish to extend your choral trip we would be delighted to assist you in extending your stay by adding additional excursions for example to St. Paul de Vence and Vence (duration approx. 4 hours) including the visit of the Matisse Chapel “Chapelle du Rosaire” in Vence and the “Foundation Maeght” in St. Paul de Vence, one of the most important art foundation. Art lovers can admire famous works by famous artists from the 20th century such as Modigliani, Picasso, Bonnard, Miro and Chagall.
Alternatively we can offer you a full day trip to Eze, a medieval town with the most beautiful panoramic view at the Cote d´Azur and to the Principality of Monaco including the visit of Monte Carlo and the Exotic Garden (duration of excursion approx. 8 hours).
