Day 1 Vilnus (310km/3h30min) Klaipeda
Arrival at Vilnus airport and transfer to Klaipeda for overnight.
Day 2 Klaipeda (49,6km/1h30min) Neringa- Curronian Spit(356km/5h30min)
Start the day with excursion to Neringa - Curronian Spit - the sandy stretch of land and a gteat holiday site. Then conitnue through the fishing villages developed as resorts, such as Juod-krante, famous for the Hill of Witches or Nida, the resort of serene beauty, the main destination noted for its magnificent dunes 50-60m. high, the Lithuanian Sahara. Continue to Riga the capital of Latvia. Overnight in Riga.
DAY 3 Riga
After breakfast meet your local guide and enjoy Riga. Start your tour from the Menzendorf Museum and head to the interior of the Old Town. You admire the centuries-old buildings that surround you here. From the town hall square, dating from the 13th century, to the towering church of St. Peter . Continue your walking journey and see the magnificent Grand and Little Guild, the medieval buildings and the house of the Arnuvo-style cat, the buildings of the Three Brothers, St. James' Cathedral, the Swedish Gate and others. Afternoon free time. Overnight in Riga.
Day 4 Riga - Sigulda (54,3km/1h) - Parnu (174km/3h) - Tallinn (127km/2h)
First stop is at Sigulda - the heart of the Gauja National Park and often compared to a "Small Switzerland" due to its unspoiled nature, the hills and valleys formed by the River Gauja and the medieval Turaida Castle. Continue to Estonia and next stop at Parnu - Estonia`s Summer Capital. Short panoramic tour in this old Hanseatic town before arrival in Tallinn the capital of Estonia for overnight.
Day 5 Tallinn
Tallinn city tour including the Old Town with its Town Hall Square, Town fortifications, the Toom-pea Castle. Visit the Kadriorg Park and Palace. Afternoon free. Overnight in Tallinn.
Day 6 Tallinn (181km/2h30min)Tartu (167km/2h30min) Cesis
Start the day with stop in Tartu - Estonia's intelectual capital. Short panoramic tour in one of the oldest university towns in Europe and continue to Cesis into Latvian terito-ry, passing the old castle there. Overnight in Cesis.
Day 7 Cesis (224km/4h) Hill of Crosses near Siauliai (190km/2h30min) Kaunas
Start the day with travel to Hill of Crosses near Siauliai, a symbol of Lithuanian`s resistance against foreign rule, with more than 30,000 crosses. Arrival in Kaunas. See Slabodka (Vilijampole), a Jewish settlement in the suburb of pre-war Kaunas and ghetto during WWII. Jewish cemetery. The Holocaust museum and Memorial in the Ninth Fort Kaunas Synagogue and Children Memorial in its court Streets A. Mapi and L. Zamenhoff. The pre-war Jewish ReaL Shvabe gymnasiums and Jewish hospital. Walking tour in the Old Town with its Gothic and Baroque churches and houses. Overnight.
Day 8 Kaunas (91,6km/1h20min) Trakai ( 38,7km/1h) Vilnus
Drive to Vilnus the capital of Lithuania with stop at Trakai -once the residence of Grand Dukes of Lithuania. Meet your guide in Vilnus and take city tour including the Cathedral with bell tower, the square of Presidential Palace, see the jewels of 16-17 century architecture - St Peter and Paul`s Church, St Anne's Church, Gates of Dawn with a famous icon of Virgin Mary. Make a walking tour in the medieval Jewish quarter, with his lanes and courts. See Jewish streets. Transfer to airport for final departure.
