Day 1 Bratislava
Arrival at the airport in Bratislava and transfer to your hotel for overnight
Day 2 Bratislava
The tour starts with the highlights of Bratislava's historic Old Town, the Gothic St. Martin’s Cathedral and the Primate’s Palace, the neo-Classical residence of the Archbishop of Esztergom.The day trip finishes in the quaint Main Square, with its craft market.
Day 3 Bratislava – Trencin (130km/1,30h)- High Tatras (200km/2,30h)
Leaving Bratislava, the first stop is the fascinating and historical town of Trencin. Enjoy the picturesque view of the town from above where the majestic castle of the medieval oligarch Matus is situated. The next stop is in the Tatras. Unique chance to visit the Demanovska Cave of Freedom, one of the most impressive cave systems in Europe. Arrival in the High Tatras
Day 4 High Tatras - Strbske Pleso – Pribylina - Liptovsky Mikulas - Tatranska Lomnica - Skalnate pleso – High Tatras
The tour starts with a visit to Strbske Pleso, a spa town with a splendid mountain panorama, situated on the shore of a glacial lake. The next stop is the open-air museum in Pribylina, where to get in touch with the local folk architecture. Continue on to Liptovsky Mikulas and return to the High Tatras, to Tatranska Lomnica. There starts a cable car trip to Skalnate pleso mountain lake, where the second highest mountain peak in Slovakia is.
Day 5 High Tatras – Kezmarok - Cerveny Klastor – Poprad (50km/1h)
Today the tour is dadicated to one of the most spectacular regions in Slovakia, this one of the Gorals, a specific area with a distinctive lifestyle. Very impressive is the wooden Lutheran church at Kezmarok, which is listed as a UNESCO site of World Cultural Heritage. The next is the town of Cerveny Klastor in Zamagurie region, where is located the former monastery compound. Arrival in Poprad.
Day 6 – Poprad - Spisske Podhradie – Zehra – Levoca – High Tatras
Unique chance to visit one of the largest castle compounds in Europe - the medieval Spis Castle. The town of Spisske Podhradie along with the medieval church of Zehra lie impressively beneath the castle. All these sights are part of the UNESCO World Cultural Heritage sites.Continue on to the medieval town of Levoca, visiting its Renaissance town hall and the Gothic St. James Church. The most fascinating is the church altar by Master Paul, claimed to be one of the largest in the world. Return to the High Tatras. Enjoy a walk to the Cold Creek Waterfalls.
Day 7 High Tatras – Banska Bystrica (130km/1,30h)- Chateau Topolcianky (100km/1h) – Bratislava (130km/1,30h)
Continue on to the Low Tatras, admire the spectacular views of Certovica Pass. The first stop is the main town of Central Slovakia, Banska Bystrica. It is an ancient mining center, with meticulous restored patrician houses. Here attractive to visit is the SNP Museum. The next sightseeing stop is the neo-classical Chateau Topolcianky, where in the past it was a summer residence of Czechoslovak presidents. Arrival in Bratislava and overnight
Day 8 Bratislava
Transfer to the airport for final departure.
