Barcelona - Colonia Güell - Figueres - Barcelona

Day 1 Barcelona
Arrival at Barcelona airport. Transfer and accommodation.


Day 2 Barcelona highlights tour
A half-day city tour of Barcelona highlights, including the Gothic quarter with the most romantic and picturesque street Bisbe and Barcelona’s Gothic Cathedral. See the four columns, part of the Roman main temple of Augustus, dating back to 1st century, and the remains of the Roman city walls. Feel the spirit of Las Ramblas by walking to Columbus monument in the end of the street. Proceed to Plaza España and Montjuic hill, both center of the International Exhibition in 1929. Located at the imposing hill, overlooking the port, the park of Montjuic was once home of the Olympic games in 1992. Here visit Poble Espanyol, an open-air museum with full-scale replicas of buildings from Spain or choose to enter in Museu Nacional d’Art de Catalunya, located at the impressive building of National Palace of Catalunya.

Day 3 Barcelona Modernisme tour
Continue discovering the unique architecture of Barcelona by seeing the highlights of the Modernisme route. During this trip you will see the most breathtaking works of the catalan architect Antonio Gaudí and some also impressive works of his colleagues. Starting from Park Guell, a colourful place, planned by Gaudí with gardens, houses, squares and lodges, we continue with a walk down the most elegant avenue Passeig de Grácia, where you can visit one of Gaudí famous houses - Casa Milá and Casa Batlló, both wonderful piece of art. Next to Casa Batlló are another two houses built in modernism style - Casa Amatller and Casa Lleó Morera, part of the block of the discord in Barcelona. Proceed to the last stop for the day - Palau de la Música Catalana, a building which impresses with its wealth of decoration, mosaics, paintings and sculpture. Free time.

Day 4 Sagrada Familia - Colonia Guell (20 km/30 min)
Continue with the highlights of Gaudí art and start the day with a guided visit of Sagrada Familia, the most prestigious project of the architect, his unfinished masterpiece and the most famous sight in Barcelona. Less popular but also very remarkable is the Colonia Guell, a small worker’s village, close to Barcelona, famous with the crypt of Gaudí, an impressive church that was never finished by him. The architecture style of the crypt is very similar to the Sagrada Familia but in the same time is unique and singular. In the afternoon return to Barcelona and free time.

Day 5 Barcelona - Figueres (140 km/2,30h) - Barcelona (140 km/2,30h)
A full-day tour to the north city of Figueres for visit of one the most famous spanish museum - Museu de Dalí. This is where the prominent spanish surrealist painter was born and it is an unique experience to visit and see the massive collection of his art. Free time in Figueres and return to Barcelona.

Day 6 Barcelona
Departure to Barcelona airport.
