Korca Carnival, Korca, January - one of the biggest festivals in the Balkans.
Day 1 Tirana
Arrival transfer.

Day 2 Tirana - Durres (40km/30min)
Departure to Durres, the main resort area in Albania along the Adriatic Sea. Visit the amphitheatre and the Archaeological Museum. Have a walk along the beach area of Golem.

Day 3 Durres - Kruja (40km/30min) - Durres
Departure to Kruja, a former capital. Explore the narrow streets of the medieval Old Bazaar, the fortress and the Museum of the Albanian National Hero, George Kastriot Skanderbeg. Visit the Ethnographic Museum. Travel to Durres.

Day 3 Durres - Berat (100km /1,30h) - Ardenica - Apollonia - Vlora (100km/2h)
Tracel to Berat, the Live Museum Town. Explore the Old Town. Visit the Cathedral of St Nicholas and the museum of Onufri. Continue to Ardenica with a visit the Byzantine monastery. Drive to Apollonia. Visit the museum and the Byzantine Church of St. Mary. Departure to Vlora. See the Monument of Independence, the museum and the Mosque of Muradie.

Day 4 Vlora - Llogara - Himara (80km/1,30h)- Saranda (50km/1,30h)
Explore the National Park of Llogara. Drive to Himara, a charming fish village along the Albanian Riviera. Arrival in Saranda. Enjoy a walk along this nice coast-town situated just a few miles across the Greek island of Corfu.

Day 5 Butrint
Find the ancient town of Butrint, founded by the Trojans during the first millennium BC. See the amphitheater, the remains of the Thermal Bath and continue to the Baptistery, the Lion’s Gate. Enjoy the view from the top of the medieval fortress overlooking the town of Saranda.

Day 6 Saranda - Gjirokastra (60km/1h) - Tirana (300km/4h)
Departure to Gjirokastra, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. It is called The town of one thousand steps. Explore the biggest fortress in Albania and the National Museum of Weapons. Visit the Old Bazaar. Continue to Tirana.

Day 7 Tirana - Elbasan - Pogradec (90km/1,30h) - Tirana (130km/2h)
Drive to Elbasan fortress. Continue to Pogradec. Explore the park of Drilon. Back to Tirana.

Day 8 Tirana
Visit the National Museum of History and continue to the National Gallery of Arts.

Day 9 Tirana
Transfer to the airport.
